Meadowfoam honey is highly sought after for its famous deep aroma of vanilla and the novel taste of toasted marshmallows.

The bees collect the pollen from the meadowfoam flower which is native to southern Oregon. The "Meadowfoam" name comes from its resemblance of sea foam on the surf.
